you may remember i belong to a FABulous group of ladies within the STLMQG named the {lou}bee. love these ladies. so.much.talent. this month {nov} is my month for bee blocks. woohoo!!
my main inspiration is the original Drunk Love, by the lovely denyse schmidt.
the color scheme is gray, blue/turquoise/aqua in solids and prints, and a hint of yellow.
fabrics used: honey child by jennifer paganelli, painter's canvas by laura gunn, innocent crush by AMH, wheels by riley blake, tadot and disco dot by michael miller, mingle by monaluna, robert kaufman metro living, etchings by studio e, bold & beautiful basics by maywood studios; kona solids in ash, med gray, aqua, peacock and teal.
here are the FOUR blocks i made. i wanted to make sure the packet 'o goodies for each lady had enough to make two blocks measuring anywhere from 12.5"-15". i'm pretty sure i could have made two more after these. overkill?
i'm so excited to see how these ladies combine these ideas in a way that is them! i'll keep you posted.
I can't wait to start playing with these fabrics, it's on the schedule for this Thanksgiving weekend. WooHoo!!
