october {dead}lines

quilting is my hobby and i love it. it's a surprise to me more than anyone that this month finds me with multiple deadlines to meet. funny. 

the two i needed to finish this weekend are done {woohoo} with pictures to come. as it turns out, toddlers don't make the best 'quilt picture' holders [stop moving, up a little more, 2 hands-sticky, hold still, etc]. i'm waiting for someone over 3" to be available.

it was on friday i realized that i only had ONE week to finish up my habitat challenge quilt for STLMQG, not TWO weeks. sheesh. 

here's a peak. quilting done and ready for some binding.

i promise i'm soon going to have some new projects and some finished quilts to show.
