ReplyDeleteI'm lucky enough to have my favorite summer memory recur every year as I float in my inner tube on Lake Skatutakee in Harrisville NH, which I have done every year since I was born. It's kind of weird to now be the mom rather than the kid on the tube, but my husband keeps it real by teaching our daughters how to run and jump of the dock for an inner tube splashdown to create what he calls "the slight spanking sensation".
