  8. WIth a birthday in July, I'm loaded with wonderful summer memories, but my top one would have to be receiving tickets to the 1884 Olypics in Los Angeles, and seeing our US Men's Gymnastic team take the gold medal. It's the only time I've been to the Olympics, but I hope to make it again some day, hopefully somewhere overseas. I love just about every shad of blue there is, so this bundle is amzing for me. Thanks for a wonderful giveaway, and for causing me to bring that memory out of mothballs. I think I'll head over to you-tube and see if there are any videos - who knows I might even spot myself, if I could remember what I was wearing that day.

  162. Ooh I have tons of fun summer memories-it's hard to narrow them down. For everyday stuff, one of my favorite memories is climbing trees with a bag with an apple and a book in it, and sitting up there reading and munching on that apple. For more special stuff, I remember going to the San Diego Zoo, and building sandcastles on the beach (and hunting for shells!)

  192. I guess my favorite summer memories are two trips of long ago- one to Europe and the other to Mexico. Having said that I have many fond memories of times spent with my parents and grandparents just being together. I am a teacher so summers are a different pace than the winter time. It is a great time to see old friends and to take the time to smell the roses so to speak.
Thanks for participating in the blog hop.
